We drove to BWI on Saturday, March 2nd. We got to the Space-A desk around 7 p.m. and were told we would be able to get on the flight.
Annalise, Sophie and Todd sat together and Lizzie and Leesa were across the aisle. Lizzie slept with her owl pillow.
The individual screen on the seat in front had two channels we haven't seen before - one where you can see what the pilot sees and another that shows the ground under the plane. It was actually great to have these channels especially when we were about to take off and land!
Arriving in Ramstein, Germany.
While in BWI, Lizzie found this little alcove behind one of the airline counters. She sat in it and read her book!
Looking at the picture in the window of this hotel, we thought it might be a hotel you can rent by the hour!
We used the Road-Runner taxi service to get to the train station.
The girls were all really tired and slept on the train to Paris.
Arriving in Paris at our hotel at about 10 p.m. Even though it was late and we were REALLY tired, we couldn't go to bed without taking a stroll to see the Eiffel Tower. Lizzie, in particular, was very excited!
My mom and dad used to have a silver mini like this with nudge bars. We passed it every day as we went from our hotel to the Metro, the Batobus or in the direction of the Eiffel Tower.
We stopped here to get popcorn, hot chocolate and a hot dog that was served on a baguette!
Lizzie was really amused by the legs to sell stockings in the window!
Todd wanted to test drive the Tesla, but we never actually saw the store open!
The spiral staircase was just outside the door of our hotel room and led to a pretty courtyard.
More photos below of the girls being sleepy on the train! Not sure why they posted here, but I'm not moving them!
We had a little apartment in our hotel. As soon as we got there, Annalise got plugged right into the internet.
