Before going to Bridgenorth, we stopped by Wayne and Clare's house to pick up Ruby. John had built a step from the garden down to the patio for them, so we admired his handiwork. We tested it out by jumping on it to see if it was level and were very impressed. Before leaving, Ruby invited us for a game of football in the garden. It seems she is thinking of doing a trial for Liverpool or Wolves and wanted to get in a little practice. Ruby is a great little traveler in the car. If she knows you're going in the wrong direction, she pops between the two front seats and gives a little nod of the head to point you in the right direction. Ruby is well trained by Wayne and Clare and knows she gets special treats for doing really special things. She did a very neat "thin pork sausage" poop while mom had the leash. Although mom protested a lot, tried to rope in random strangers after Todd, Dad and I refused to scoop the poop, we guilted her into scooping the pooping. As you can see by the pictures below, she went in one time, but had to psych herself up to actually do the deed the second time. We are giving her 9/10 as she got it all up, but she lost a point because she didn't use an antibacterial wipe on Ruby or the pavement. I'm sure she'll do better the next time. Yes, mom... there will be a next time. It was the most entertaining thing that's happened all holiday since she drank that bottle of red wine that we won at quiz night at The Firs!
