Lizzie meets a pilgrim!

We stopped in Colonial Williamsburg after the semi-final game.  Lizzie kept saying that she wanted to see a pilgrim.  We had walked around all evening, gone to dinner, listened to a band (Time Sawyer - they were really good) and just as we were heading to the car, a pilgrim was walking home and kindly stopped so that Lizzie could have her picture taken!

Varsity Soccer Team celebrating State Semi-Final 3-1 Win Over Norfolk Academy

Annalise's last night as a high schooler

We all sat out by the fire making s'mores on Annalise's last night!  Her last day of school is Friday, May 17, 2013 and she left school at 11:15 to go to the Varsity State Semi-Final game.  They played Norfolk Academy and won 3-1.  The final was supposed to be on Saturday at 6pm back in Richmond, but after hours of torrential rain, the game was moved to a turf field, and when that flooded too, it was postponed until Monday at 4pm, and then again until Monday at 5pm so we can avoid more thunderstorms!

The second grade students invited parents to see their work on South America.  Lizzie made this diorama below on beaches in Brazil.

Parents ate Brazilian cookies and drank mango punch.
