Day in DC
We came to see Todd in DC. Lizzie had two waffles, four pieces of bacon, a strawberry yogurt, a bowl of cereal, apple juice and hot chocolate for breakfast. I've never seen her eat so much!
We took the Metro from King Street to the Smithsonian and saw a British Paratrooper on the Metro. Lizzie spotted his Union Jack on his arm.

Attempting to take our photo with the Capitol Building behind us during really windy weather!
Lizzie loved the birds splashing in the water.

Pretending she's in Paris
Lizzie wanted to ice-skate with Todd in the evening, but she decided it was too cold...
Alexander Calder plus other sculptures
This was one of Lizzie's favorite sculptures along with Sol Lewitt's Pyramid. Lizzie loved when I told her that Todd and I had stayed in Sol Lewitt's apartment in NYC!
"She'd look even more beautiful with clothes on!"
"It's Van Gogh, we have his book in our bathroom!"
